History of Academic Solutions
Academic Solutions is a privately owned educational agency. We started out ten years ago in North Dallas and finally settled in Plano after realizing a need for a private, non-franchised setting. We specialize in developing an individualized program best suited to the unique needs of each child.
Staff Biographies
Anjanette Shake (Owner) Anjanette has over 16 years experience in education. Anjanette, a former Special Education teacher, has developed academic curriculums for non-profit agencies before starting Academic Solutions. She currently provides special education advocacy consulting and is the director of the Texas Tech University ISD Special Programs Site facilitated by Academic Solutions. Staying hands - on, she continues to offer tutorial and enrichment sessions in the evening in the areas of SAT/ACT, ISEE preparation, and high school and college level English. She has been a Plano resident for over 30 years.
Amy Miller - Business Manager
Amy is the co-founder of Academic Solutions. She facilitates the TTUISD curriculum and tutors in the evening in the areas of middle and high school English, History, ISEE and SAT verbal preparation.
Jared Stites - Math/Science Tutor
Jared tutors all levels of middle and high school mathematics as well as ISEE/SAT/ACT math preparation.
Eloise Lipman - Elementary/ Middle School Tutor
A former diagnostician, Eloise tutors students needing study and organizational skills, reading comprehension, writing and ISEE verbal preparation.
Jason St. Cyr - Math/Science Tutor
Jason assists students in high school and college level in the areas of upper level math and science as well as ISEE/SAT/ACT math preparation.
Kameron Rowe - Math/Science Tutor
Kameron tutors students in high school and college level in the areas of upper level math and science as well as ISEE/SAT/ACT math preparation.
Jennifer Rowe - Elementary/Middle School Tutor
Jennifer assists students in all areas related to elementary and middle school subjects.
All tutors are degreed professionals including but not limited to certified teachers, mathematicians, and engineers.
