Our tutors' focus is to assist students in meeting their educational goals while building confidence and a positive attitude toward school and the classroom setting. The one to one student to tutor relationship allows us to build a trusting bond with those we tutor. The result is a student who is academically accomplished as well as confident.
We focus on providing students with the tricks and strategies necessary for each individual test (ACT, SAT, PSAT, ISEE, GRE, and GED), taking into account the student's own strengths and weaknesses.
Since the program is individualized to each student's needs, there is no set number of sessions. The number of sessions and time necessary to prep for the test is determined by many factors: target date, current test score (if applicable), goal scores, and student availability.
Enrichment services go above and beyond what is offered in the classroom. Support is offered for organizational and study/test-taking skills. We also offer concept reinforcement, remediation, and/or reteaching. Individualized sessions are designed to match your child's learning style and motivation.
